U.S. U-18 Women’s National Team finishes 10 Nations Tournament with 1-0 loss to France U-19s in La Manga, Spain

CHICAGO – The U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team fell to the France U-19 Women’s National Team 1-0 in its third and final match of the 10 Nations Tournament in La Manga, Spain. Playing against older teams, the USA tied Sweden 3-3 and lost 1-0 to both Norway and France.

France, the reigning European U-19 champion and 2012 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup champion, scored its lone goal off a 35th minute penalty kick from Aminata Diallo.

The U-18 WNT will next convene in mid-May for domestic training camp.
