DALLAS (Via U.S. Soccer) – The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team tied Kyoto Sanga FC 0-0 and defeated Sinergia Deportiva Tigres 3-1 in a set of friendlies in Dallas, Texas.

The first match saw a lot of equal play between the U.S. and Kyoto, giving credit to U.S. goalkeeper J.T. Marcinkowski for earning the shutout. At the recent Dallas Cup, Kyoto scored in every match it played in Bracket B, tying for most goals scored in its group.

But it was the second game that the U.S. became victorious. USA midfielder Sebastian Saucedo started the score line off with a goal in the 15th minute, produced by himself. In the second half, U.S. captain Brooks Lennon tallied with the help of Victor Mansaray. Just eight minutes later, the duo switched places with Lennon assisting on Mansaray’s goal. Tigres scores a late penalty kick, but the U.S. already had the result in the bag.
