U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team draws with hosts Portugal at Lisbon International Tournament
The U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team remained in first place of its group with a 1-1 draw with host nation Portugal at the 19th annual Lisbon International Tournament.
Romain Gall continued his hot streak as he gave the U.S. a 1-0 lead on a powerful free kick from 23 yards out in the 48th minute. Portugal would find the equalizer two minutes later on a curling shot 23 yards out from the left side that beat the U.S. defense and found its way into the upper right hand corner.
The U.S. U-18s will next play Hungary in another group match on Saturday, May 25.
