U90C’s Premier SuperCopa features high level teams from 25 states, multiple countries

With the 2022-2023 youth soccer season finishing up, 215 of the top U9-U12 Boys and Girls teams in the country recently traveled down to the Sunshine State to participate in the 2023 Premier SuperCopa, hosted by U90C Sports.

Regarded as ‘America’s Championship’, Premier SuperCopa has become a go-to tournament for the best young talent in North America. Participating teams represent the player pools which will later go on to play in the region’s preeminent youth leagues, including MLS NEXT and the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), among others.

The event featured a record attendance of an estimated 7,000 attendees for the Opening Ceremonies hosted at Nathan Benderson Park on June 15. All of the Premier SuperCopa 2023 participants not only enjoyed the high level competition, but also took time to enjoy the beaches and other off-the-field attractions that South Florida has to offer.

On the field, the competition featured 94 different clubs from across 25 different states and three countries (Canada, Mexico, and the United States). The diversity in playing styles led to some fantastic match-ups and close games throughout the event. The knockout rounds saw 14 overtime games and 10 penalty kick shootout matches, including 9 overtime games with 6 penalty kick shootouts in the semifinals and finals.
