QUOTABLE:
Head Coach Danny Sanchez
On first game back and the team’s overall performance:
“This was the first time we played a boys DA team and I think it was fantastic. This boys Real Colorado team is very good, their ball movement, their thought process it was a great test for us. I thought we played the first 35 minutes very well. With only having one sub I thought we faded a little bit after that. I thought Real Colorado played very well and really tested our back four. I thought we did well for the first time out and we are excited about the rest of the spring.”
On looking ahead and preparing for the next game
“In the next couple weeks we will watch the video of this and we will sharpen up some things. We want to get some of our players back that are hurt and get them healthy before spring break. We will really focus on that. Really, the meat of our spring season is after spring break. We are going to continue to work on our fitness base, get sharp, and hopefully get some players back as we play four games in four weeks in April.”
