University of Texas adds midfielder Olivia Ahern to 2022 signing class
AUSTIN, Texas – University of Texas head soccer coach Angela Kelly announced the signing of Olivia Ahern (Midfielder/West Vancouver, British Columbia/Burnaby Central Secondary School/Vancouver Whitecaps Girls Elite REX) to a national letter of intent to join the Longhorns program as a freshman for the 2022-2023 school year.
Ahern joins a standout 2022 signing class that already includes (Top Drawer Soccer National Player Rank/Position/Hometown/High School/Club Soccer Team): Toni Lopez (No. 163/Center Back/Palmetto, Fla./IMG Academy/IMG Academy), Kendall Sproat (No. 185/Goalkeeper/Frisco, Texas/Independence High School/Solar SC), Breana Thompson (Defender/Mesquite, Texas/John Horn High School/Dallas Texans) and Liz Worden (No. 60/Forward/Riverside, Calif./Martin Luther King Jr. High School/Legends FC) as well as Baylor transfer Taylor Dellosso (Redshirt Freshman/Defender/Midfielder/Colleyville, Texas/Baylor University/Grapevine High School/Solar SC) and former Penn State midfielder/forward Jilly Shimkin (Freshman (sophomore in 2022)/Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side High School/NYSC & Albertson Fury).
