US Club Soccer hires three technical leads for USSF Coach Licensing

CHARLESTON, S.C. – US Club Soccer has announced the onboarding of three Coach Licensing Technical Leads to support U.S. Soccer coach licensing programming.

Three individuals have been carefully selected to work with US Club Soccer member organizations to improve coach licensing accessibility and instructor support across the country. Each individual will support a specific region.

Coach Licensing Technical Leads from East Coast to West Coast:

Beau Morki: Northeast and Southeast; based in New York

Morki holds a U.S. Soccer National A License, an NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, a U.S. Youth National License and is NASPE certified. He currently serves as the Director of Coaching for the Westchester Youth Soccer League and Technical Director of Eastern Football Club.

Marcie Schwartz: North Central and South Central; based in Ohio

Schwartz holds a U.S. Soccer National B License, NSCAA Premier Diploma, NSCAA National Goalkeepers Diploma and U.S. Youth National License. She currently serves as the Director of Coaching for the Ohio Travel Soccer League and Executive Director of Solon Lightning Soccer Club.

Nick Lusson: West 1 and West 2; based in California

Lusson holds a U.S. Soccer National A License and NSCAA Premier Diploma. He currently serves as the Director of Membership for NorCal Premier Soccer and Athletic Director for the Alameda County Deputy Sheriffs’ Activities League and Sheriffs Fútbol Club.

All three Coach Licensing Technical Leads hold the U.S. Soccer Grassroots Instructor License and are active instructors with US Club Soccer.

US Club Soccer has hosted more than 250 grassroots courses since 2018 and was approved to host five C courses in 2021. In addition to hosting courses, US Club Soccer has nominated over 65 instructors for U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Instructor License.

US Club Soccer member organizations can apply to host grassroots modules and D courses in either the traditional or blended format.
