FRISCO, Texas (Via US Youth Soccer) — The schedule has been announced for the final two weekends of 2018-19 US Youth Soccer National League play in Las Vegas, where 39 division titles will be decided. National League division winners in the 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U and 18U age groups, along with division winners and runners-up in the 19U age group, qualify for the 2019 US Youth Soccer National Championships, adding an extra element of excitement to the final weekends of play.

The National League provides an avenue for teams to play in meaningful matches against top competition from across the country for continued development and opportunities for exposure at the national team, collegiate and professional levels. In addition to recruiting opportunities, the top finishers from each division will earn a ticket to the 2019 US Youth Soccer National Championships in Overland Park, Kan., creating additional value and pressure as each game could make or break their chance at competing for the National Championship. The top finishers in the 14U-18U age groups can also earn an automatic spot in the 2019-20 National League season.

Just two boys teams and seven girls teams have solidified a place in the 2019 National Championships. Entering play in Las Vegas, 39 spots — 22 for the boys and 17 for the girls — are still up for grabs, as a majority of the teams head into the event with hopes of punching a ticket to Overland Park.

All 14U Boys and Girls teams will compete in Las Vegas and play five shortened matches (50 minutes) over the course of three days to complete a seven-game season. The additional games were added due to game cancellations in North Carolina in December. The 15U Girls and 15U-19U Boys seasons will be five games, also due to game cancellations in North Carolina.
