USC signs goalkeeper Bella Grust on transfer from Colorado

LOS ANGELES – The USC women’s soccer program announced the addition of Bella Grust as a transfer from Colorado this week.

Grust spent the last two seasons in Boulder, appearing in 15 games and making six starts in goal for the Buffs. Five of her six starts came this past season, when she played 672 minutes and made 41 saves.

Grust is a California native, having grown up in San Diego and competed for the San Diego Surf Soccer Club. She was rated the No. 7 keeper in the nation by Top Drawer Soccer coming out of Torrey Pines HS in 2021. Grust was also part of the U15 USWGT player list and was part of the 2017/18 USWYNT hub prior to her collegiate career.

She is one of 10 incoming players joining USC for the 2023 season after the Trojans announced nine other newcomers last month. The Trojans open the 2023 campaign on Aug. 17 when they host Michigan.
