Virginia State ODP selections revealed for 2021

The Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) has revealed its selections for the state’s Olympic Development Program (ODP) for the winter and spring of 2021.

Boys and Girls ODP rosters were selected across the 2004 through 2009 birth year age groups. The state level ODP program provides opportunities for further advancement to the ODP East Region Pool and beyond.

Virginia’s State ODP squads will begin training on December 12, and will continue throughout January and February 2021, with the final session taking place on March 6.

In January 2021, the ODP competition calendar begins with the North Carolina Friendlies Tournament (Jan. 8-10). After that, VYSA will host the Virginia Friendlies Tournament (Feb. 19-21) in Williamsburg.

Competition heats up in June with the East Region ODP Tournament, where state ODP teams go head-to-head for the title of best in the region.  In July, top players from throughout the East will be selected to participate in East Region ODP Camp.
