She can win the ball, defend the ball, and play out the back in a variety of ways. She plays with passion and enjoyment, and has a personality that will fit in really well with our culture. Why did you choose Tech?? I chose Virginia Tech because everything about it felt like the right place for me. The campus and facilities are beautiful, but I was also really impressed by the coaching staff and team. Their dedication and love for the school is evident and I really wanted to contribute to their program.

What was your favorite thing about your visit? My favorite thing about my visit was getting to truly feel like a part of such a tight-knit group of people. Everyone on the team treats each other like family and it was awesome being welcomed into that type of team culture. I got to know so many people on the team and also learn about the other commits in my class. It made me even more excited to get on campus next year and be a part of the Hokie family.

What do you like about the Tech women’s soccer program? I really like the competitive and supportive environment the program offers. Everyone is committed to improving themselves as players and helping the team succeed together.

What are your soccer strengths? One of my biggest soccer strengths is my composure in the back. I’m comfortable with the ball on my feet, which allows me to find passes into the midfield and front lines. I am also good at reading the field and anticipating plays before they happen.

Who is your favorite pro player (why)? My favorite pro player is Becky Sauerbrunn because she is a vocal leader on the field. She’s also composed on the ball makes strong tackles when she needs to. I really enjoy learning from her when I watch her play.

What is your most memorable soccer moment (why)? My most memorable soccer moment was when I scored the winning goal in the 90th minute during our last Champions League match. I’ll never forget how happy I felt when my team rushed over to hug me. We fought hard until the very end of the match, and it was exciting to see all of our hard work and grit pay off.

What do you think you will major in (why)? I want to pursue a business major because it opens up many opportunities in the future. I’m interested in the finance field and possibly becoming a business owner.

What is one thing you would want Tech fans to know about you? I want Tech fans to know that I am excited to be representing the Hokies on and off the soccer field!
