WAGS Tournament 2019 schedule released
The schedule has been released for the 2019 Rael Vodicka WAGS Tournament, which is being held October 12-14 in Northern Virginia.
A total of 508 top teams from across the United States, as well as several Canadian sides will be competing in the prestigious all-girls event which dates back to 1975.
More than 250 college coaches attend the WAGS Tournament annually, representing all divisions of collegiate women’s soccer.
With age groups ranging from U-9 to U-19, this year’s field of teams features reigning State, Regional and National champion squads, along with representatives from the nation’s premier leagues, including the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) and U.S. Soccer Girls Development Academy.
Attending clubs will come from the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia and from throughout the host state of Virginia.
The WAGS Tournament is hosted in partnership with Elite Tournaments, and features United Soccer Coaches as the presenting sponsor.
New this year, the event has partnered with Trace Soccer to provide game filming and editing services for players.
