Winter Preseason, Fall Week 12 High School Rankings released (Boys)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Via United Soccer Coaches) – United Soccer Coaches and USA TODAY High School Sports released today the 12th boys and girls soccer polls in the USA TODAY/United Soccer Coaches Super 25 Fall Rankings, along with the Winter Preseason Rankings.
For the ninth week in a row in the Super 25 Fall Rankings, New Jersey state champions St. Benedict’s Prep (Newark, N.J.) take the No. 1 spot in the boys rankings, with a record of 19-0-0 under head coach Jim Wandling.
Meanwhile, Brockton High School (Brockton, Mass.) took the 7th spot after being unranked last week.
For the Winter Preseason Rankings, Fleming Island High School (Orange Park, Fla.) and St. Johns Country Day School (Orange Park, Fla.) are the No. 1 ranked teams in the boys and girls rankings, respectively. Fleming Island finished the 2016-2017 season with a record of 22-1-2, while St. Johns Country Day School finished 21-0-0.
