(Via Potomac Soccer Association) – Potomac Soccer Association and the club’s Technical Director, Rob Ryerson, have announced the addition of Dave Kovack as the Girls’ Director of Coaching, effective April 1, 2016.

In his role, Dave will work closely with Ryerson to create and implement a developmental plan for the club’s female athletes and coaches.

Since starting his coaching career in 1991, Dave has had extensive experience coaching with local youth clubs and is currently the head coach of the Damascus High School girls’ varsity team. “I’m very excited to start this new chapter in my career and I’m looking forward to working with the players and coaching staff at Potomac Soccer,” Kovack said. “In the end, it’s all about the players.”

“It will truly benefit the girls in our program to have Dave join our technical staff as he has produced some of the top players in Maryland,” Ryerson said. “With his experience and knowledge in developing female players, along with his ability to work with coaches, Dave will be a tremendous asset in the continued growth and success of Potomac Soccer.”

Kovack currently holds his USSF “C” License and NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, along with several other coaching certificates obtained over his coaching career.
