I am Aubrey McLin, a 2008 goalkeeper who’s hungry to make a mark in women’s soccer and in the craft of goalkeeping. Below are the GK athletic behaviors and traits that I believe will carry me far in my soccer career. My agility, coordination, and reaction on the pitch is something I pride myself on. I am disciplined and able to concentrate in high pressure environments. Offensively and defensively my skills are excellent. I am a confident communicator and leader on the pitch. I demonstrate excellent decision making skills and mental strength in adverse or stressful situations which is something all my trainers and coaches have given me high remarks for.

I am a multi-sport student-athlete who competes and trains in three different sports. I plays soccer, Futsal, and Fastpitch softball. For soccer I currently play on the Davis Legacy 2008 ECNL team and train weekly on my clubs 2007 ECNL team as well as on the 2008 CalNorth ODP team. I also play in the WPSL on the San Francisco women’s Nighthawks team and joined when I was 14 years old. Some of my best accomplishments to date are taking second place in CalNorth’s National Keeperwars Ink championship after winning California’s Morgan Hill’s City Qualifier in my age bracket, assisted my high school varsity team as a freshman go undefeated for the 2022-2023 season only conceeding one goal.

I was nominated to participate in United Futsal’s National Training Camp where the best CCS players from the around attend and was invited to attend a Futsal Barcelona, Spain national training camp. I’ve also been called up for the past two summers for ODP ID camp. And received an invite at USYNT IDC in 2022.

I am also an advocate and writer and have written articles for the Girls Soccer Network and I’m an intern at Female Footballers as I’m an advocate for mental health for student athletes.
