Her ability to position herself to intercept passes and prevent attacks along with her ability to receive the ball and make quick accurate passes when transitioning from defense to offense has played a pivotal role in the recent wins for Sporting AC. Her well-timed tackles and confidence in slide tackling shuts down the opposing team’s ability to effectively connect and distribute the ball, stifling their opportunities on net. Her awareness and mental toughness allow her to effectively communicate with teammates, make quick decisions and support her teammates with overlapping runs to stretch the width of the field. Her work ethic and IQ transcend beyond the pitch as she has earned a 4.6 weighted GPA putting her in the top 5% of her graduating class of 348 students.
