Bio: MacKenzie Stearns is a strong, athletic soccer player who has a large variety of skills. Stearns is versatile, flexible, adaptable with great dependability’s on the pitch. With her extreme work ethic, physical strong attributes and defensive shut-down CB abilities gives her many tools in her soccer bag. She also plays outside-back and the #6 depending on the opponents scheme. We also see Managers putting her in “set-plays” such as coming up for offensive “headers” and taking direct free kicks with efficiency. MacKenzie has a high winning percentage in aerial duels with her tall stature and strength. In the game, MacKenzie is always looking to get a counter attack started with her fast dribbling into space and launching medium/long range passes from deep areas. She has the intelligence to play everywhere in the attack which make MacKenzie such a valuable player for this Blues team. She loves to organize the back-line with tidy passes and clear communication. She will read and anticipate every situation on the pitch very well. Her dedication is above-par, MacKenzie is loaded with talent, pace and touch and has proven her worth in the ECNL league.
