Makena Lee is a high-impact forward with a proven track record of excelling in high-pressure moments. As a key player for PDA Legacy Blue 2009, she helped her team win the U14 ECNL National Championship, scoring the game-winning goal in the final. She also delivered the equalizer in the U13 ECNL National Finals and scored a decisive penalty in the U13 Round of 16. Most recently, Makena scored the equalizing goal in the semi-final match of U15 Nike Premier Cup, an international competition that PDA Blue went on to win. Known for her composure under pressure, Makena consistently delivers in critical moments that energize her team.

Makena has 39 goals in ECNL competitions, including 18 during PDA Blue’s u14 National Championship season (second on the team). Makena’s versatility as a forward allows her to thrive as a center forward and on the wings, combining speed, tactical intelligence, and the ability to finish with both feet. Her dynamic style of play and ability to read the game make her a constant threat in the attacking third, as she can beat defenders with pace, skill, and smart decision-making.

In addition to her club success, Makena has been a standout at the Baldwin School, leading the varsity team in scoring as a freshman and sophomore, earning all League and team co-MVP honors, and being named captain for the 2025 season. With 59 career goals, Makena is already second on Baldwin’s all-time scoring list after her sophomore season. A proven leader on and off the field, she frequently directs her teammates to maintain possession and create scoring opportunities.
