Maya currently plays with BVB Girls Academy since 2022. Prior to this Maya played at DKSC and Sting ECNL from 2019-2021 under Coach Tatu. She played at United Futsal Worlds 2021 and Ranked 4th Place Team with Rise Futsal Academy. In 2022 Maya was invited to Spain Madrid to a Madrid Euro Soccer Academy Residency to study and learn spanish methodology soccer under UEFA licensed Coach Julio César Gómez. Maya studied spanish methodology soccer and learned spanish language while at MESA Residency.

Maya has trained with soccer developer Yushi Higaki from Saitama Japan while she visits Japan once a year. Yushi Higaki currently has women Japanese National players training with him and Maya will continue to train with him this season and hopes to get connected with the Japan National Team.

Maya attends Prosper High School and plays soccer under Coach Taylor Baca. She is studying to become an architect and loves Antoni Gaudí Cornet and dreams one day to build an amazing soccer complex in her own design.

Maya has a younger brother Rui.
