Clint Dempsey transfer saga still unresolved
Premier League team Fulham is now insisting they have not received any offers for attacking pair Moussa Dembele and Clint Dempsey amid recent reports to the contrary. Dempsey has refused to play so far this season as he attempts to push through a move to Liverpool, but Fulham believe the player has been let down with no firm offer from the club, who are not willing to table a bid until they offload Andy Carroll. Late word Monday was that Sunderland were now willing to rescue the “want away” American. It will all must be resolved by closing of the transfer window Friday at 11 p.m. GMT.
