U.S. international Clint Dempsey continued his dream season for Fulham with a 25-yard free kick after 12 minutes in their match against Sunderland on Sunday. Fulham won the match 2-1.

The goal was not just a spectacular free kick, but Dempsey’s 23rd this season (in all competitions) and 50th career goal in the English Premier League. Dempsey is the first American to reach the milestone in the EPL.

As Dempsey’s contract with Fulham ends after this season, there are now reports emerging that Arsenal is looking to sign Dempsey over the summer. Can you imagine him up top with Robin van Persie and the latest Arsenal addition, Lukas Podolski?
