Players That Impressed: ECNL Girls Florida National Event (Spring 2025)

The Spring 2025 ECNL Girls Florida National Event took place over the weekend, as college coaches lined the sidelines to watch ECNL National and ECNL Regional League competition.
ECNL Florida featured 47 ECNL teams and 157 ECNL Regional League teams across the U15-U18/19 age groups. (COLLEGE COACHES)

2027
Florida Premier FC 2009’s goalkeeper Emily Baird helped her team earn two Clean Sheets against Connecticut FC and Internationals SC, while conceding only 1 goal over the 3-game weekend to red-hot offensive powerhouse Real Colorado. Baird, an ECNL Southeast All-Conference goalkeeper, showcased her communication and distribution abilities at ECNL FL as her team prepares for their spring season.
Contributed to a successful showcase for her Arizona Arsenal 2009 ECNL RL team, coming up with some tough saves along the way. Arsenal had an unbeaten 2-0-1 record in Florida, thanks in large part to their defensive unit which conceded only 2 total goals. Gowdy was there to clean up any attacks that reached the box, including a big 1v1 stop on Day 2.

Nia Etienne | Forward
Sunrise Surf 2009 ECNL RL (FL)
Piled up 6 total goals over the course of 3 games, as Sunrise Surf turned in a dominant team performance with a perfect 3-0-0 record on the weekend. Etienne scored at least once in every game, with her biggest performance coming on Day 2 against Nationals SC, when she netted a hat trick.

Tuula Tarkka | Forward
Real Colorado National 2009 ECNL (CO)
One of the premier attacking players from the Class of 2027, Tarkka put on quite a show in Florida, racking up 5 goals against some top competition. She started off with a bang, recording a hat trick on Day 1 against a renowned Internationals SC squad. (HIGHLIGHTS)

Lauren Delapaz | Forward / Midfielder
Dallas Sting Black 2008 ECNL RL (TX)
Produced 4 goals at the showcase for Dallas Sting Black 08 RL, as the team swept their 3 opponents. Delapaz scored at least once in each game, with her biggest performance coming on Day 2 when she netted a brace against Connecticut FC.
2026
Showed off her quick reaction time and ability to keep opponents off the scoreboard, even on possessions that advance all the way into the box. Franchetti and the North FC 06/07 ECNL Regional League back line were strong all weekend long, helping the team sweep their 3 opponents.
The future Iowa Hawkeye was dynamic between the posts, showing that she’s in top form for Florida Elite 2008 ECNL. Smith made some big saves to help Florida Elite earn a pair of wins while conceding only 2 total goals over the course of 3 games.

Emma Miller | Midfielder
Sporting Columbus 2008 ECNL RL (OH)
Grinded all weekend long in the midfield for Sporting Columbus, playing all 270 minutes with full effort and efficiency. The uncommitted Class of 2026 recruit showed some of everything, including some pinpoint passes, and her shooting prowess with an upper-90 strike. (WATCH)

Team Boca FC 2008 ECNL RL (FL)
Stole the show on Day 3 with a hat trick for Team Boca against Tennessee side FC Alliance. Tyrakoski, an uncommitted Class of 2026 attacking player, found the net 4 times on the weekend as Team Boca swept the competition.
