Which Youth Clubs Have The Most USWYNT Players? (June 2023-June 2024)

In soccer, there are few things as important to a player as receiving a call-up to one’s national team. It’s a special achievement one that signifies that the player has developed at a high level and is capable of playing against the best of the world.

For youth soccer clubs, it’s also a major moment. It is a source of pride not just for the player receiving the call-up but their teammates and the club’s community.

SoccerWire has accumulated all of the U.S. Women’s Youth National Team rosters since June 2023 to see which clubs have had the most success in getting players called up. The data includes players from the U14-U20 teams, dating back to June 5, 2023.

Of the 104 clubs that have had at least one USWYNT player call-ups, San Diego Surf and Solar SC  are tied for the most players at 15 each.

After the nation’s top two clubs accounted for a combined 30 players, California’s Legends FC come in third with eight. Three teams round out the top five with seven players each earning call-ups to various USWYNT events: FC Dallas of Texas, Internationals SC of Ohio and and St. Louis Scott Gallagher (SLSG) of Missouri.

See below for a look at each of the remaining youth clubs represented by current U.S. Women’s Youth National Team players.

Notes:

  • Only National Camps – featuring players from all over the country training at a central location – are eligible for inclusion.
  • Regional ID Camps – exclusively featuring players from a single region – are not included.
  • Players are counted as members of clubs that they were with at the time of each call-up. If they have since moved to a different club, they are still counted on the club that they were on at the time of roster selection.
  • College players who had already graduated high school at the time of their call-ups do not count toward their youth club’s total.
  • Players called up as alternates were not included unless they were called up for another camp.
  • Players shown in the special profile boxes below are members of the SoccerWire Featured Player Program (Learn More Here), or have gone pro in the NWSL since their latest call-up while still playing youth soccer.
  • Roster data starts at June 2023 and runs through the end of May 2024. To see how clubs fared from 2022 to May 2023 check out Which youth clubs have the most U.S. Women’s Youth National Team players? (2022-2023).
  • The U-15 and U-20 teams that played in June 2023 were not included as their roster were announced in May of last year.
