RICHMOND, Va. – The ECNL Coaching Methodology Workshop will be held December 6-7 in St. Louis, in conjunction with this year’s ECNL Regional League St. Louis event (December 8-10).
Led by ECNL Technical Advisor Ceri Bowley, the ECNL Coaching Methodology Workshop provides an opportunity for club directors and leadership across the league to collaborate and learn about topics regarding developing a clear club identity and playing style, implementing consistent methodology across a club, creating and executing individual talent development plans, and other topics around coach, club and organizational development.
Bowley is the former Director of Coaching Support and Methodology for the City Football Group, and has implemented programs on club identity, playing style, methodological frameworks, and more at the highest levels of world soccer.
The ECNL previously hosted ECNL Coaching Methodology Workshops in South Carolina in May and in conjunction with ECNL San Diego this October. Both events received excellent feedback from participating directors and staff.
“We feel very grateful and fortunate that the league does such a good job of bringing world class people into our ecosystem,” said San Antonio City SC Technical Director Adriano Allain. “I think the league recognizes that the clubs are the ones doing the player development and we’re interconnected and interrelated, so these kinds of events are phenomenal.”
The Methodology Workshop is a part of the ECNL’s growing education platform, intended to provide unique coach and club development opportunities to youth soccer coaches and organizations. The Workshop supplements the annual ECNL Coaching Symposium held every January. Look for more exciting announcements regarding new ECNL education offerings in the coming months.
